Craniosacral Therapy
Craniosacral therapy is a form of osteopathy and was developed at the beginning of the 20th century.
For this form of therapy, the patient lies on a comfortable couch. I scan individual parts of the body that are important for the flow of energy. The core of craniosacral therapy is the study of the pulse system of brain and spinal fluid – the cranio pulse.
The structures of the body oscillate with this pulse, especially the skull, the spine and the sacrum. This wavelike movement can be felt by light, delicate touch all over the body. This enables blockages in the body to be detected and treated by selective therapy, especially in the skull, sacrum, feet and abdomen.
The treatment is carried out with sensitivity and respect, with limits being perceived and respected.
Craniosacral therapy is widely used to treat many complaints, including nervous disorders, traumas, shocks, migraine, eye problems, sleep disorders, pain, gynaecological problems, postoperative treatment, after anaesthesia, grief and worries…
And is ideal for the newborn baby after a complex birth process.
The treatment is pleasant, relaxing and stimulates the powers of self-healing.
